The vineyards are surrounded by a nature reserve "Lago Préola e Gorghi Tondi" which has been officially recognized by the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) since 1998.
Hidden in a valley and almost completely hidden from view, there is a collection of small lakes that originate from corrosion of lime. This so-called “crater landscape" was created because rain has eroded the land. The natural oasis is a refuge for protected animals. In addition to leaving a picturesque impression, this nature reserve is of great value to the surrounding vineyards.
They are therefore processed with respect for nature (organic).
