The vineyards are located along the “Etang de Thau”,  the largest and deepest inland lake  in Languedoc (South of France).

This inland lake forms a breeding ground for shellfish and  crustaceans, such as oysters and  mussels.

The vineyards take full advantage  of the terroir. The relatively poor  bottom, consisting of sea clay and  sand, gives the wines a special  minerality, while fresh sea breeze  and also sea mist have a tempering  effect on the temperature. This  allows the grapes to ripen more  slowly.

The wines of the 68-hectare  Domaine  are fruity and widely accessible.
